It was a whirlwind couple of days for nine College of Music students, three alumni and one faculty member as Colorado took over Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall on Nov. 5, 2018.

Director of Bands Donald McKinney, jazz alumna Tia Fuller and opera alumnus Wei Wu were all on the list of the 2019 Grammy Award nominees.

鈥淪ometimes you start somewhere, but end up somewhere else,鈥� says Cassidy Grunninger (MM 鈥�14), an Associate at Dunner Law PLLC, a Certified Woman-Owned firm in Washington. "My background in music inspires me and influences how I approach my work, the connections I make and the insights I have."

The College of Music鈥檚 National Alumni Council is hard at work creating beneficial experiences for students and alumni.

For the second time since 2016, winners of the prestigious Ekstrand and Honors performance competitions will take the stage, along with graduate quartet-in-residence Ajax Quartet.
