S.C.O.P.E.听aims听to increase science identity and access for middle school school students. The program has three core goals:

  1. Increase interest in science at the pre-high school level with an鈥痚mphasis鈥痠n service to schools with historically underrepresented students.听
  2. Provide a unique opportunity for students to meet working scientists from the University of Colorado at Boulder and perform鈥痟ands-on science experiments.听
  3. Offer teaching and classroom opportunities at the pre-high school student level for staff, post-doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate students within the University of Colorado at Boulder
