My research interests are听in the field of plasma processing technologies, plasma surface engineering, plasma-chemical听modification of materials, plasma synthesis of nanomaterials,听plasma-chemical听synthesis, coating and functionalization of micro-and nano-powders, electric听propulsion, plasma modeling, plasma diagnostics, experimental study of electric听discharge plasma, arc plasma physics, hypervelocity dust impact phenomena, computational听thermodynamics and kinetics, heat and mass transfer. 听Dr. Gorokhovsky is a co-investigator of the Institute for Modeling Plasmas, Atmospheres, and Cosmic Dust ().
