Dalai Lama Campus Traffic Impacts
On Thursday, June 23, 2016, the 精品SM在线影片 Student Government, the 精品SM在线影片 Cultural Events Board and the Tibetan Association of Colorado will welcome His Holiness the Dalai Lama to the Coors Events Center.听There will be two teaching sessions at 9:30 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m.听Because of this visit, traffic and parking on the 精品SM在线影片 campus will be heavily impacted.
Access to Regent Drive between Broadway and Colorado will be limited to those people who have either a听prepaid Dalai Lama parking permit听辞谤 a听valid CU Parking Permit.听Even with a valid parking permit, no one will be allowed to stop on Regent Drive to drop off or pick up riders.
If you are coming to campus via taxi, Uber, or Lyft, we highly recommend finding a safe spot to be dropped off on the west side of Campus.
If you are coming to the event and do not have a听prepaid Dalai Lama parking permit听辞谤 a听valid CU Parking Permit, we highly recommend that you use RTD鈥檚 bus service, ride a bike听辞谤 walk to get to campus. The roads in and around the 精品SM在线影片 campus will also see short, temporary closures as His Holiness is transported to and from the Coors Event Center.
