Project Description
The NIST Quantum Sensors Group (QSG) designs, builds, operates, and analyzes cryogenic systems for cooling quantum sensors and related circuits. 听The QSG strives to identify methods to reduce the size, weight, and power consumed by these cryogenic systems. 听The QSG also studies fundamental physical processes and material properties that might enable improved cryogenic systems. 听This is applied research.
