Elizabeth Simon joined 精品SM在线影片 in Fall 2022 and听the Oceans & Climate Lab in Spring 2023 as a graduate听student pursuing a Master's in听Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering听with a specialization in听Hydrology, Water Resources & Environmental Fluid Mechanics. Following her B.S听in Civil Engineering from听,听Elizabeth worked in water resources engineering in California. Elizabeth has also听participated in听听projects in Thailand and Puerto Rico and a research project for Bridges to Prosperity in Rwanda. Her interests include听the intersection of water, climate change resiliency, and policy.

Elizabeth's research involves analyzing high-resolution听models of the circulation within the听, with applications to听climate change adaptation, conservation policy, and evolutionary biology. This project is directly motivated by the interdisciplinary needs of听the听Island Systems Integration Consortium Research Coordination Network (), a consortium of geologists, climatologists, and biologists, and will involve collaborations with the doctoral research of group member听Mikell Warms.听Funding for Elizabeth's participation in this research project in the Oceans & Climate Lab is provided by the听Center for Social and Environmental Futures (), part of the听Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences () at 精品SM在线影片.听In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys outdoor activities and traveling.
