Music video using super 8 and different animation techniques. The music I used for this project was provided solely by Jason Girards. This video works as a visual representation of how and why the songs were made, as well as depicting the environment Jason and I have lived in while going to school in Boulder.

Rellenos is a 3-minute long music video that incorporates both the use of animation and super 8 films. The song was written and produced by Jason Girards, a long-time friend and roommate of 3 years. The super 8 film depicts different places around Colorado that we as students have learned to call home. The footage also portrays the emotions and feelings Jason was experiencing during the creation of this song. The animations used in this video stem from the fantastical and blur the lines of what is normal. The combined effects of modern animations and super 8 films were used in an attempt to produce contrast within the mediums.
