Our Project

PureConnect is an app where you can get information about the Central 70 highway construction project and interact with community members and decision-makers regarding community issues. The app contains multiple听channels with different functionality, such as the #Discussion channel where community members can talk about different issues.

Users

This app was developed specifically for use within the Globeville, Elyria-Swansea, and Cole communities for this study project. Using this app benefited local residents, as they got the chance to discuss issues related to the construction project near them.

Key Features

There are multiple channels in PureConnect that provide different benefits, such as the ability to ask questions, express concerns, connect with nearby residents, or suggest ideas.

FAQ: How to Use PureConnect

  • Go to the App Store for iPhone/Google Play Store for Android and search for 鈥淪lack鈥

  • Install and open the app

  • Before using the app, make sure you are connected to the internet

  • Click the PureConnect link sent to you by the research team

  • Type your email address to log in to PureConnect

  • Open the email you received from Slack and click the 鈥淐onfirm Email鈥 button

  • Create an account by adding your first and last name along with a strong password

  • Once an account is created, you will be able to see all the channels on Slack

  • The app will not ask you to log in unless you have logged out or are using a different device

  • To log in, you can select the workspace using your email ID

  • Find the appropriate Slack channel or use the #General channel

  • Post a message

  • Look for the research team chatbot or tag the research team chatbot in a message
