May the 4th...be with you. Sometimes, I wish I were a Star Wars geek (or at least more knowledgeable). The month of May is filled with some great celebrations and events, including National Bike Month, Cinco De Mayo, Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month and, for many of us, the start of summer break. Do you guys have any summer plans? I might take a dive into the Star Wars universe. Whatever your plans are, I hope it involves bikes!

Buffalo Bike Classic is Back!
Registration is now open for the 19th Buffalo Bicycle Classic (BBC) on September 12, 2021. There are 9 route options, something for everyone. Take a look at some of the key highlights!
Unwanted bikes? Donate to CU's Bicycle Program
If you have a bike that you no longer need or want, don't toss it in the trash! Unwanted bikes can be donated at the Folsom and UMC bike stations, where they will be refurbished and sold at the annual Bike Sale in the fall.聽
Earn your Bike Mechanics 101 Certificate!
The Environmental Center is pleased to offer an online self-paced course covering the basics of bike maintenance. Learn about bike anatomy, tools, lubricants, how to make basic repairs, and more.

Commuting Solutions is looking for input on the draft report for the First and Final Mile Study for SH 119 (aka the Diagonal). The study discusses recommendations for the stations across the corridor, bicycle and pedestrian connections, wayfinding signage, shared parking, microtransit and Transportation Demand Management strategies. The comment period will be open from April 19 through May 7.
