Who Received This Email?
We sent this email at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, 2021, to students who were on a waitlist that was incorrectly canceled on Tuesday morning and who had not set up drop if enrolled for any of those classes.

Dear [first],

Thank you for your patience while we worked to resolve the waitlist cancellation error from Tuesday, Jan. 19.

At this time, all incorrectly canceled class waitlists have been restored and waitlisting is now available. The last day to join a waitlist for a full-semester Main Campus class isÌýMonday, Jan. 25 (see "What Happens Next" for details).

Review Your Schedule

Log in to to view your schedule and classes. In grid view, waitlisted classes are shaded black; in list view, they're shaded yellow and labeled "Waitlisted."

If you were enrolled into your waitlisted class(es) after this error occurred, we did not move you back to the waitlist. You're still enrolled and can disregard the rest of this message.

We made every effort to ensure you were returned to the waitlist position you were in on Tuesday morning. However, if you believe your position is incorrect or that we missed one of your classes, please email registrar@colorado.edu for assistance.

To remove yourself from the waitlist, drop the class.

What Happens Next

If a seat becomes available in your waitlisted class:

  • Between now and 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, the next eligible waitlisted student will be enrolled automatically and will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours.
  • Between Jan. 26 and Feb. 3, contact the department offering the class to see if their policies allow them to enroll you manually.

On Thursday, Feb. 4, waitlists are canceled. If you still aren't enrolled, you'll lose access to the class's online materials and be removed from the class roster. However, you may be eligible to use course reservation the next time that course is offered.
