Lu M. C贸rdova is a five-time CEO specializing in operations management, business development, and capital finance. Currently, she works with the Governor of Colorado doing strategic planning and projects and spearheading the development of the Global Energy Park, a billion dollar innovation district in partnership with the National Renewable Energy Lab. She听is also the CEO of Corlund Industries, a diversified holding company in real estate development, property management, investment holdings, IPO Lending, and the Almacen Storage Group. And, C贸rdova chairs the CTEK Foundation, a nonprofit business catalyst.听
Formerly, C贸rdova chaired the board of the US Federal Reserve Bank based in Kansas City. She was on the board of the publicly-traded Kansas City Southern Railroad (KSU), the largest cross-border railroad between the USA and Mexico which just conducted the largest merger in transportation history at $32B. She was on the board of Euronet Worldwide and an advisor to the State of Wyoming on their investment committee selection panel. She headed the Colorado Department of Revenue and served three terms on the Economic Advisory Board of the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. She headed the Techstars Foundation, founded CTEK Angels and GenXangels and was CEO of Acteva, an e-commerce software transaction provider. She was an SVP at McGraw-Hill Standard & Poor's and VP at Excite@Home. She is an angel and PE investor and a limited partner in VCs.
She is a frequent speaker, expert witness and consultant on matters of entrepreneurship, finance, technology, corporate governance, succession planning, and operations.
