The University of Colorado at Boulder is seeking public feedback on a draft report of a campus self-study as part of its regular application for continued accreditation by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

The self-study report will be used by the NCA evaluating team in preparation for its campus visit April 17-19, 2000. Evaluations for NCA accreditation occur every 10 years.

The self-study was conducted by a campus committee appointed two years ago by Chancellor Richard L. Byyny. Chair of the committee is William Kaempfer, associate vice chancellor for budget and finance in the Division of Academic Affairs.

The 133-page draft report is available on the World Wide Web at . Hard copies are available upon request to Kaempfer at (303) 492-6406. Deadline for public comment is Dec. 15.

Byyny emphasized that the draft report is "still in the preliminary stages. For example, we have not yet inserted all the planned displays, charts, graphs, side-bar information, appendices, web links and other information. The draft text itself continues to be reviewed and refined. We look forward to receiving feedback on this important draft document."

Comments should be emailed to William.Kaempfer@colorado.edu, or mailed to him at University of Colorado at Boulder, Campus Box 40, Boulder, CO 80309.
