The University of Colorado at Boulder Office of Community Affairs and Moe's Broadway Bagel are sponsoring a book drive at all four Moe's stores Feb. 26 through March 2 in connection with Read Across America Day on March 2.
People who bring in new or slightly used children's books to any one of the three Boulder stores or the Denver store, at 550 Grant St., will receive a free bagel and cream cheese. The offer is limited to one bagel per customer per visit.
The books will be donated to local schools, shelters and early learning centers. The book drive is one of several events planned by the university in conjunction with the National Education Association's Read Across America Day celebrating reading and Dr. Seuss' birthday.
