University departments are required by state and federal laws to retain and then dispose of their records according to specific standards.
As part of these requirements, the Campus Controller鈥檚 Office submits an annual report听to the state archivist about which records university departments have destroyed in the previous year.听In order to support that effort, each department is responsible for submitting its log of disposed records.
