The 2017听 is fast approaching, but it's听not too late to volunteer!

Drive the co-creator of The Daily Show or a听former NFL football player. Have lunch with听the superintendent of the Grand Canyon or a polar explorer. Take a walk with the former White House event coordinator or NASA's听former deputy administrator.

The annual event听will feature 100 speakers and 200 panels over five days,听Monday, April 10, through Friday, April 14.

Those who are interested in volunteering must听attend one mandatory meeting this week and听one mandatory meeting the week after spring break (which is the week before the conference).听No prior CWA experience is required or expected.

Mandatory Meeting:听Round I
March听15 at 7 p.m.

Mandatory Meetings:听Round II
April 4听or听5 at 7 p.m.

The听next mandatory meeting听is Wednesday, March 15, at 7 p.m. at the听, room 155A. There will be听free pizza听and the chance to meet other conference volunteers.

The second round听of required meetings is Tuesday,听April 4,听or Wednesday, April 5,听at the same time and place noted above. Again, this includes free pizza and awesome company!

If you wish to volunteer, you must come to one meeting in听each round of mandatory meetings.

Students are also eligible to volunteer to drive CWA participants, which听creates a unique opportunity for听one-on-one conversations with truly outstanding individuals鈥攁n unforgettable experience! Those who are interested must attend the听transportation meeting directly after the student meeting on April 4.

Additional jobs are听available, so CWA听encourages all interested students to attend the mandatory听meetings this week.
