What: Simulated point of dispensing (POD) exercise
When: Friday, June 16, 9 to 11 a.m.
Where: University Memorial Center and Lot 544

On Friday, June 16, the ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬÌýwill host a full-scale emergency preparedness exercise, and there are still many volunteer positions to be filled for both the walk-through and drive-through exercises.

TheÌýsimulation is part of the statewideÌýPublic Health Emergency Dispensing Exercise (PHED Ex) happening the same dayÌýand will allow ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬÌýto collaborate with community partners to identify gaps and areas for improvement in the university's emergency planning.

The university is seekingÌýstudents, staff, faculty and community members to helpÌýhealth care providers practice the medication distribution process. One-hour volunteer shifts are available.
