The coordinator will develop听and implement听procedures and programs necessary for efficient operation听and assist听the BFA with its representational and governance responsibilities. The coordinator will support听the BFA in its missions, providing continuity in a governance body comprised of elected members whose terms are not long enough to provide sufficient institutional memory for the organization.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to take initiative and make sound decisions to increase program efficacy, set and achieve deadlines for work completion听and establish work priorities in consultation with the BFA chair.
The role requires听someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to both work autonomously and also take direction. The coordinator must exercise professional judgement in dealing with sensitive issues that require discretion and confidentiality.听
