The campus community’s participation in Staff Council blood drives has made ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ not only Bonfils Blood Center’s top education accountÌýbut also the top overall account among all blood drive hosts in Colorado so far in 2017, according to data released this month.Ìý

Upcoming Rocky Mountain Showdown Blood Drive dates at the Rec Center ice rink overlook room:

This year, the campus already has saved 2,007 lives through Staff Council-hosted drives.ÌýÌý

To continue to save lives and positively impact our community, is encouraging campus members to participate in the Rocky Mountain Showdown Blood Drive Aug. 29–31.

Not only will donors help save lives, but they also will be part of a friendly competition with Colorado State University for the largest volume of donations during the competitive drive.ÌýAll donors will receive two free tickets to the CU-University of Northern Colorado football game on Sept. 16.

Starting at 9 a.m. each day, the Rocky Mountain Showdown Blood Drive will take place at the ice rink overlook room at the Student Recreation Center. Walk-ins are welcome, or donors may schedule an appointment by emailing lauren_thompson@bonfils.org.

The winner of the Rocky Mountain Showdown Blood Drive will be announced during the pre-game program at the Rocky Mountain Showdown football game on Friday, Sept. 1.
