Offered through Human Resources, this FranklinCovey training, which is part of a suite of topics, helps organizations better manage change and create high-performing teams that are agile, collaborative, innovative and engaged. The cost is $30, and participants must register for the all-access pass to attend this three-day in-person workshop.Ìý

Grand opening of the campus Startup Hub

A place not only for students, but also for faculty, staff and community members, the Startup Hub located at the Village Center will open its doors in celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23. See what it's all about: EnjoyÌýthe space, peruse student innovation stories and socialize withÌýthe innovation ecosystem on campus. Consider how you might want to get involved, perhaps to prototypeÌýyour own idea, partnerÌýwith othersÌýor offer mentorship.

¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ Involvement Fair

If you're looking to get involved on campus, the ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ Involvement Fair is for you. Stop by theÌýUMC Glenn Miller BallroomÌýfrom 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and connect with new people and groups, learn about upcoming campus eventsÌýand all the different student clubs and organizations on campus. While you're there, enjoy the free food, giveaways andÌýmusic.

Trump’s America: One Year Later

Has the Trump presidency lived up to its expectations, good or bad? Find out during a panel discussion at 5:30 p.m. in Hale Science, room 270. The panel is made up of students and facultyÌýfrom across the political spectrum.ÌýÌýis recommended.

Staff Council 'Reverse Town Hall'

Staff Council is hosting a reverse town hall, where staff members are encouraged to share their experiences, ideas and potential improvements on the employee tuition benefit.

Bring your A-game to the New Venture Challenge

Are you part of a New Venture Challenge team? Workshops beginning Jan. 25 will validate your idea. Write a business plan. Prep your pitch. All this and more will be coveredÌýto help you gear up for the campus's startup competition.
