This weekend, check out several events on听campus, off campus and from the comfort of your home: a free screening of the movie听Wonder,听Left Right Tim听improv comedy show, the annual street dance competition,听spring colorguard camp with the CU Marching Band, a free听workshop on how race is handled in the media, a Fiske FullDome screening of Habitat Earth and the chance to nominate afaculty or staff member who has positively influenced your experience at 精品SM在线影片.

Friday, March 9

Presented by Program Council, Wonder is a film starring starring Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson听and Jacob Tremblay based on a New York Times best seller. Admission is free, and popcorn will be served. Chem 140 doors open at 8听p.m., and the movie will run until 11 p.m.

Join CU鈥檚 top student comedy group for an evening of entertainment and laughter. Starting at 8:30 p.m., Left Right Tim will be performing their weekly show,听creating an improv comedy harold, in Hale 270. There is an entry fee of $3 at the door.


Saturday, March 10

Join the VeRVE听Collisionz student organization and the Cultural Events Board (CEB) for the annual street dance competition. There will be free dance workshops at the Rec Center beginning at noon and performances in the UMC beginning at 7听p.m. Free admission for students. Read how the VeRVE dance team is pushing boundaries at CU.

From 10听a.m. to 2听p.m., the CU Marching Band will be hosting a free, informal workshop for any high school or college student passionate about colorguard. It will be held on Farrand Field, and lunch will be provided.

The College of Communication, Media, and Information (CMCI) will be sponsoring a free community workshop on how race is handled within media and the press. This all-day workshop runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Speakers and professionals within the industry will share their insights.听


Sunday, March 11

This Fiske Planetarium screening will be fun for the whole family: The film听plunges below the ocean鈥檚 surface to explore the dynamic relationships found in deep ocean ecosystems. Running time is an hour, and tickets can be found on the听Fiske's website. After the film, there will be a 30-minute听talk about emerging scientific finds.
