This weekend, check out several events on听and off campus: Boulder Laptop Orchestra performance,听Astronomy Day at Fiske Planetarium, Family Day the Museum of Natural History, a Tour of Africa,听TEDxCU: Game Changer, a 5K race that helps fund free counseling on campus, Earth Day tree planting,听Extreme Measures a cappella concert and an evening of Cuban music and听culture.

Friday, April 20

See Todd Reynolds and Luke DuBois,听known for their hybrid music movement, perform live. The free performance runs from 7:30 to 9听p.m. in the听ATLAS Black Box theater.


Saturday, April 21

Astronomy Day and Family Day

The Museum of Natural History and Fiske Planetarium are both hosting events for听the community this Saturday.听Join the museum听for this month's Family Day, focused on nature's aviators, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; then stop by Fiske between 1 and 10 p.m. for planetarium shows, observing with telescopes and more.

Join the African Student Association听from 5 to听10:30 p.m. at the Rec Center for a Tour of Africa! There will be performances, music, fashion, food听and henna during this celebration of the different cultures of Africa. Admission is free.

TEDxCU: Game Changer

This event offers students听and the community the opportunity to hear a wide range of opinions and perspectives on today鈥檚 most pressing issues.听This year, there will be eight听diverse panelists presenting their ideas. Though it is free to students with a Buff OneCard, pre-registration is required, with听a $15 dollar fee for no-shows. Join from 6 to 9 p.m. in the听UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom.


Sunday, April 22

The Mental Health Assistance Fund is hosting their yearly 5K听run/walk that helps to fund free counseling and CAPS services for all 精品SM在线影片 students. The race starts at 9听a.m. on Duane field. Registration is only $10, and proceeds go directly toward听helping students on campus.听

Join One Tree Planted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for an amazing day of planting trees and restoring an area that was affected by a major forest fire. Afterward, there will food and snacks provided, and then post-planting drinks at one of Boulder's great microbreweries. Meet at Fourmile Canyon, 849 Melvina Hill Rd.

From 3 to 5 p.m., Extreme Measures will be performing their spring concert. All are welcome to this free event at Old Main. They will be performing some old classics, as well as mixing it up with new songs.

The Roman D铆az Afro-Cuban Group from New York City is coming to CU, with a showcase performance titled听An Evening of Cuban Music and Culture. The group performs听a selection of the diverse folkloric traditions inherited in Cuba from West Africa and the Caribbean. Join from 6:45 to 10 p.m. at Old Main.
