The office of Planning, Design and Construction (PD&C) has chosen AECOM Strategy Plus to guide a visioning process for strategic facilities planning that will help inform the next 10-year campus master plan update and create a holistic approach to meeting campus space needs, both in the near term and for decades to come.
Vice Chancellor for Infrastructure and Sustainability David Kang first announced the strategic facilities visioning endeavor last year. The initial search for a consultant to help facilitate the process paused briefly as the campus has been engaging in the Academic Futures discussions. Campus Architect and Director of Planning and Design Bill Haverly is leading the effort. An executive committee will be established to guide this effort across the campus as the initiative moves forward.
