Info for students living off-campus

If you are leaving Boulder for the summer, post your sublet or create a roommate profile on , CU鈥檚 rental database. For current CU community members (students, faculty or staff), there is no cost to post a sublet on Ralphie鈥檚 List.听

Sublease agreements are available here. If you have legal concerns about subleasing, you can schedule an appointment with Off-Campus Housing & Neighborhood Relations鈥 legal advisor, attorney Bruce Sarbaugh. He is available on Tuesdays and Fridays for appointments.

If you have already signed a lease for fall听and have questions, you can reach out to discuss your options and for suggestions on leasing terms and agreements. Be sure to communicate with your landlord about your rental concerns for the upcoming year. Many landlords are offering some sort of rent relief or flexibility, so it doesn鈥檛 hurt to ask.

If you are moving out of your residence now or at the end of the summer, to avoid penalties and fines, please be sure to properly dispose of trash, and dispose or donate personal items (couches, electronics, etc.) you no longer want.

Off-Campus Housing will remain open throughout the summer but will operate on summer hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., starting Monday, May 11. The office can be contacted electronically at och@colorado.edu or through live chat.

Spring 2020 textbook rental check-in and sellback

The CU Book Store has extended the deadline for textbook rental check-in to June 1. Rental books may be returned via UPS with a prepaid shipping label. Questions? Contact assist@cubookstore.com. 听through June 1.

If you purchased a textbook and would like to sell it back, the CU Book Store will offer textbook sellback when the physical store reopens. when details are announced.

Health and Wellness Services

Missing your bike?

The 精品SM在线影片 Police Department partnered with the Environmental Center to collect a large number of unsecured bikes left on campus when on-campus operations were greatly curtailed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Officers are recording the make, model, color and serial numbers of the bikes and keeping them in a secure storage facility.

If you find that your bike is missing when you return to campus, be sure to听file a report online so you can retrieve it if it has been put in storage.

Transportation

Buff Bus service and other nearby routes have been modified in response to efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19. With the move to remote learning and work arrangements, demand for Buff Bus transit has been significantly reduced, as there are fewer students and employees on campus.   • Williams Village/Bear Creek Buff Bus service will run through 8 p.m. on the last day of finals, Wednesday, May 6, then cease for the summer in line with usual operations.
  • The Stampede buses are operating on a modified schedule. Stampede buses will run from 7:30 a.m. to听5:30 p.m. beginning May 11.听

Parking

Maymester and Summer Session courses that start in June and July will be online, remote or hybrid remote/online. In the event that you need to park on campus, check the Parking Services website for Maymester and summer session permit availability. Customer service specialists also are available to assist with 鈥渋ndividualized鈥 parking permits, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 303-735-7275.

For occasional campus parking, there are many short-term pay-to-park lots on campus. Consider opening a ParkMobile account which allows you to pay from your phone and sends email alerts notifying you before your parking expires听and offers the option to extend.

The fall/academic year student permit sale dates are posted on the Parking Services website. Mark your sale date on your calendar so you won鈥檛 miss your opportunity to purchase.
