Students give each other a high five.

Buffs around the world came together over the past few months in remarkable ways to support students, staff and faculty in need. The results?Ìý

  • 1,835 students received a total of $904,143 in support
  • 380 staff and faculty received a total of $164,753 in support
  • 477 donors contributed $91,357 to the Student Emergency FundÌý
  • 249 donors contributed $51,822 to the Staff and Faculty Emergency Fund
  • $1.6 million pledged from the ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ campus to the emergency funds to support the ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ community

But the effort didn’t stop there as Buffs also stepped up to help essential workers and their community at large:Ìý

  • 1,125 masks made by 40 volunteers for campus essential workersÌý
  • 47,719 pounds of food distributed to 2,347 people through produce pop-ups and mobile food pantries*

Plus, we found new ways to stand shoulder to shoulder while remaining socially distanced:

  • Sending virtual messages of support to the Class of 2020
  • Coloring custom-designed CU cartoonsÌý
  • Using CU-themed Zoom backgrounds for virtual meetings

Thank you for your care and compassion during these challenging times. And remember, we are all Buffs Together!
