Travel approval requirement continuesÌý

Domestic and international travel for university-related business continues to be restricted. Exceptions must be approved by a unit’s respective dean or associate vice chancellor and the provost or chief operating officer. All new trips being planned will be subject to enhanced review and approval before they can be booked via Concur.

COVID-19 vaccines

Sign-up form

Students, faculty and staff interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine through ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ can sign up using the ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ . The form must be completed to be added to the campus vaccine eligibility list. Read more in the campus announcement about the form.

  • As of noon on March 10, 17,687 CU affiliates have completed the sign-up form.

Appointment availability, process

When a vaccine shipment is received, eligible ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ faculty, staff and students will be notified through their colorado.edu email account. Vaccine appointments at ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • If you are contacted about appointment availability and see “No appointments found on this date," when you try to make an appointment, that means there are no more appointments available. Those who are unable to make an appointment during the allotted time frame or who miss/cancel their appointment will need to wait for the next vaccine availability. You will be automatically notified each time vaccines arrive at ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ until you receive a vaccine or you opt out of being notified about vaccines in the .

State phases of eligibility

See the for information about the state phases. Phase 1B.3 began Friday, March 5. Phase 1B.4 is expected to begin in late March. The university will work with the state to support the distribution of the vaccine according to the updated distribution table.

  • Student-facing designation: The state phase of 1B.4, estimated to begin in late March, includes student-facing employees in higher education. Read more on the COVID-19 Vaccination Options webpage to understand what it means to be a student-facing employee. There is an option on the COVID-19 sign-up form to indicate you are a student-facing employee. Completion of the form is based on self-disclosure and includes a self-attestation where you certify that the information you provide is true and correct.

Monitoring testing hours and locations

The monitoring testing sites at Kittredge Central, the Sustainability Energy & Environment Community (SEEC), Village Center, University Memorial Center (UMC) and Rec Center are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Mobile testing site opens

In addition to the sites across campus, students, staff and faculty with a Buff OneCard can complete their COVID-19 monitoring test at a mobile testing unit that began operations this week.

  • March 10-March 19: The mobile site will be set up at the Pleasant Street location (on Pleasant Street just east of Broadway and between Hale Science and the Koenig Alumni Center), Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.Ìý

Mobile testing site temporarily offers community testing

In response to concerns about the spread of COVID-19 following the March 6 riot on University Hill, ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ is offering COVID-19 monitoring tests to members of the community. The free community testing will be available at the mobile testing site through Friday, March 19.Ìý

While open to anybody, the testing option is intended for anyone who lives in the University Hill area, was present during the large gathering or feels at risk of getting COVID-19 due to what occurred. The mobile site can accommodate up to 375 tests per day for community members.

Monitoring testing requirement continues for students in residence halls

  • On-campus residents continue to be required to complete a monitoring test weekly.
  • If an on-campus resident does not complete their required weekly test, they will begin to receive notifications regarding potential consequences.

Events and Activities Policy updated, approval process published

A campus event approval process has been established in support of the updated campus Events and Activities Policy. All approved in-person, on-campus activities, events and gatherings will be held in accordance with applicable public health guidelines with the goal of providing safe and meaningful experiences for members of the university community.

Buff PassÌý

  • Anyone coming to campus must complete the each day before coming to campus. The Buff Pass replaces the daily health questionnaire used during the fall 2020 semester.

Interviews continue virtually

Job interviews and other recruitment activities should continue to be conducted virtually until further notice. COVID-19 hiring guidance is provided by Human Resources.

Building access

CU students, faculty and staff Buff OneCard holders have access to most buildings with scheduled in-person classes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday, as of Monday, Feb. 15.
