Richard L. Wobbekind, Associate Dean | Business & Government Relations | Senior Economist, Leeds School of Business
Dr. Wobbekind will share his economic outlook for 2024. Although the economy defied expectations in 2023, avoiding a recession, some industries went through their own business cycle, leading to 鈥渞olling recessions鈥� that were more than offset by strength in other industries. Colorado has continued to grow faster than the majority of other states, but the outlook for 2024 is mixed, with some notable headwinds.
