The Colorado Space Grant Consortium is a state-wide program that provides Colorado students access to space through innovative courses听and NASA-aligned projects. We are funded by NASA as part of National Space Grant Program. There are 52 consortia in the National Space Grant program, with one consortium in each state, in addition to Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C.

Our mission:

COSGC uses the excitement of our Nation鈥檚 aeronautics and space program to inspire, educate, and develop America鈥檚 future technological workforce by enabling an inclusive and interdisciplinary community of college and university students to participate in NASA-aligned hands-on projects and innovative courses.听 Projects include orbital and sub-orbital missions, autnomous robotics and wearable technology projects, participation in NASA competitions, astronomical observing projects, and other faculty and industry supported research.

The COSGC involves 19 colleges &听universities and 1 non-profit foundation听across the state of Colorado. Each year COSGC engages over 400 college and university students on their home campuses. Many of our members teach space-related courses.

The COSGC headquarters is located in the Discovery Learning Center on the campus of the University of Colorado at Boulder. Each affiliate institution has a Director who oversees student programs on their home campuses, in addition to faculty, industry, and community mentors.
