Several graduate students and faculty members from the College of Media, Communication and Information were on hand this week to take part in the ongoing .
Hosted by the (BMoCA) and curated by Intermedia Art, Writing and Performance PhD student Maya Livio, the sixth annual MediaLive festival features performances, installations, screenings, panel discussions and a workshop, all exploring digital culture and media art.
Critical Media Practices assistant professor Erin Espelie, Journalism assistant professor Mei-Ling McNamara, Advertising, Public Relations and Media Design visiting professor Jolene Fisher and recent media and public engagement MA graduate Alex Pilnick all served as panelists on Tuesday for a discussion of the Dutch film Information Skies.
In addition, the CMCI鈥檚 Media Archaeology Lab is hosting a week long exhibition with interactive video games at BMoCA. Other events run every evening at 6:30 p.m. through Sunday, culminating with a in Boulder Central Park featuring artists Shia LaBeouf, R枚nkk枚 & Turner on Sunday.
