Bryan C. Taylor (PhD, University of Utah) is a professor of communication. His teaching and research interests are interdisciplinary, spanning the areas of security, media, organizational communication, and qualitative research methods.

He is currently studying the communicative dimensions of nuclear weapons policy, and the role of mimesis in post-9/11 media and security.

He has published widely in humanistic and social science journals, ranging from theQuarterly Journal of Speech, American Literary History听补苍诲听Critical Studies in Media Communication听迟辞听Communication Theory, Journal of Contemporary Ethnography听and the听Journal of Organizational Change Management.

He is co-editor of the volume听Nuclear Legacies: Communication, Controversy, and the U.S. Nuclear Weapons Complex听(尝别虫颈苍驳迟辞苍), The Handbook of Communication and Security听(Routledge), and co-author of听Qualitative Communication Research Methods(厂补驳别).听

His research has received awards from three divisions of the National Communication Association, and he is a recipient of CU-Boulder鈥檚 Outstanding Graduate Advising Faculty Award.
