Keith Molenaar
Dr. Keith Molenaar is the Dean in the College听of Engineering and Applied Sciences and K. Stanton听Lewis Professor of Construction Engineering and Management in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering at the 精品SM在线影片. His teaching听focuses on risk and decision听analysis, construction engineering, cost engineering and听project controls. His research focuses on risk analysis,听alternative project delivery and cost estimating for听infrastructure projects. He is the primary author of more听than 150 technical reports and articles. He has听performed project delivery and risk-related work for the听California, Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, Texas, and听Washington State Departments of Transportation. Dr.听Molenaar has been a member of numerous technical听review committees for projects including the Columbia听River Bridge in Oregon and Washington, the SR520听Floating Bridge in Washington State, the San听Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge in California, the听Panama Canal Expansion project in Panama and ITER听Fusion Generator project in France. 听Dr. Molenaar is an听active member of the Transportation Research Board,听American Society of Civil Engineers the Construction听Management Association of America and the Design Build Institute of America. 听Dr. Molenaar听has been recognized by Public Works Magazine as a top 50 鈥淭rendsetter鈥 for his work in听alternative contracting in the public sector in 2004. 听He has also received the SAME Toulmin听Medal (2003), ASCE Thomas Fitch Rowland Award (2001), and the DBIA Academic听Leadership Award (2000). 听Dr. Molenaar was inducted into the Pan-American Academy of听Engineering in 2012 for his leadership in civil engineering throughout the Americas and the National Academy of Construction in 2017 for his contributions to the industry in the areas of risk management, cost modeling, and design build contracting.听He was recognized as a fellow of the Design-Build Institute of America in 2019.
