CU Commencement 2021

On May 6, at 12 p.m. MDT, CU will host a virtual commencement ceremony to recognize the many accomplishments of our graduates and mark their passage into the company of scholars.

Forever Design Buffs

Majed (MJ) Alghamdi, an architecture major from Saudi Arabia, aims to win the Pritzker Architecture award one day.

Matthew Andronowitz, an architecture major from Connecticut, plans to contribute to designing a better future after graduation.

Jeffrey Barnett, a landscape architecture major from Orlando, Florida, plans to join a design firm and further develop his passions and skills beyond graduation.

Sebastian Bielski, a sustainable planning and urban design major from Nashville, will be graduating with a minor in business and political science. Bielski will attend the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University.

Amber Blankenship, an architecture major and media production minor, chose to attend ENVD for its focus on environmental and sustainable design in architecture.

Nuala Brennan, an architecture major from Chicago, plans to move back home and start working at an architectural or interdisciplinary design firm after graduation.

Leobardo Gomez, an architecture major from Palmdale, California, will be graduating with a certificate in Creative Technology and Design. Gomez plans to get a master's degree and an architecture license to open his own practice.

Will Currell, a product design major with a certificate in engineering management from Burlington, Vermont, plans to spend this summer applying for grants to continue the research he started for his honors thesis.

Caelan Kal-El David Denley, an architecture major from Broomfield, Colorado, always knew he wanted to do architecture growing up and wanted to stay in Colorado so ENVD was a "no brainer." 

Taylor Dingle, an architecture major from Arvada, Colorado, will be graduating with a minor in communications and a certificate in lighting design.

Sarah Dolan, a landscape architecture major and art history minor from New Jersey, was inspired to come to ENVD for its interdisciplinary curriculum.

Alysa Daves, an environmental product design major from Pasadena, California, plans to start a project or work with a company she aligns with morally after graduation and plans to travel "safely" when she can to gain more perspectives as an environmental designer. 

Nayan Dong, an architecture major from Kunming, Yunnan, China, plans to go to Syracuse for graduate school. 

Peter Curtiss, a product design major with a minor in music and space from Boulder, plans to spend time playing music and traveling after graduation, and eventually go to grad school at the University of Edinburgh.

Breyden Fano, an architecture major from Boulder, plans to continue his design career and begin learning about real estate after graduation.

Will Flanagan, an architecture major and business minor from Salt Lake City, plans to start an architecture firm beyond graduation. 

Christopher Galena, an architecture major graduating with a Peace Corps prep certificate, plans to join the Peace Corps in the environment and agricultural sectors.

Ethan Harrington, a sustainable planning and urban design major from California plans to stay around Denver to find a job in planning.

Solvita Karklins, an architecture major from Michigan, plans to attend graduate school at the University of Utah.

Kelsey Hernandez, a landscape architecture major with a business minor, plans to work for a firm, spend more time with family and continue to grow after graduation.

Keaton Hodges, an architecture major from Denver, wanted a program that he knew could support his goal of becoming an architect. "I truly believe that ENVD at 精品SM在线影片 has done that for me."

Austen Keever, an architecture major from Parker, Colorado, will be attending the University of California Berkeley to pursue a master's of architecture. 

Ula Lijowska, an architecture major from St. Louis, plans to get a job at an architecture firm after graduation.

Farron Lopez, an architecture major from Arvada, Colorado, plans to become an interior designer after graduation.

Nick Berg, an architecture major with a business minor from Crystal Lake, Illinois, plans to go to graduate school to continue his education.

Ariana Lopez Quezada, an architecture major and business minor from Denver, plans to explore the world of design and architecture working for a firm and attending graduate school after graduation.

Bella Manzo, a landscape architecture major from Indiana, will graduate with a minor in ecology and evolutionary biology and plans to keep farming and apply to graduate school programs in regenerative agriculture systems.

Caden Montano, an architecture major from Golden, Colorado, plans to take a gap year and then apply for grad school or work after graduation.

Cooper Helm, a landscape architecture major, came to environmental design to be creative while helping people and the environment. 

Environmental product design major Armando Ayala plans to join a startup or design firm after graduation, and then pursue his own entrepreneurial goals. 

Jake Norris, a landscape architecture major from Castle Pines, Colorado, will graduate with Cum Laude honors.

Molly Obermeier, an architecture major and technology, arts and media minor from Denver, will work as a lighting designer and plans to pursue a master's beyond graduation. 

Lauren Oertel, a sustainable planning and urban design major from Dubuque, Iowa, plans to get a full-time gig where she can be challenged and inspired before attending graduate school.

Claudia O'Herron, a product design major from Austin, Texas, credits studio courses with learning and understanding how to communicate and become an essential member of a team.

Brandon Pappas, an architecture major with a lighting design certificate from Monument, Colorado, plans to work at an architecture firm in Colorado Springs after graduation.

Cecilia S. Placidi, an architecture major from Italy and New York City, plans to go into interior design after graduation.

Anna Poulton, a landscape architecture major, will be graduating with a minor in geography with an emphasis in human geography. 

Aubrey Prestwich, a landscape architecture major and Nordic studies minor from Westminster, Colorado, notes the biggest lesson from her time at CU has taught her that it's okay for change to happen.

Michael Quirk, an architecture major from Minnesota, will graduate with a minor in biology and plans to raft the Grand Canyon this summer, before working in the green building industry.

Wilson Rawlings, an environmental product design major from Seattle, hopes to work his way into the outdoor recreation gear industry.

Luca Ring, an environmental product design major with a certificate in engineering management, plans to keep learning as much as possible after graduation.

Ryan Russell, an architecture major from California, will graduate with a minor in business and plans to attend Tulane University to pursue a master's in architecture.

Casey Sherrerd, a landscape architecture major from Oregon, will be graduating with a minor in geography. She plans to move to Montana to pursue a career in landscape architecture.

Natalie Spadaro, a product design major from Florida, plans to do what makes her happy after graduation. 

Savannah Terrell, a sustainable planning & urban design major and business leadership minor from Newport Beach, California, would love to continue working with Growing Up Boulder, or another organization that focuses on youth and child-friendly cities beyond graduation.

Alexandria Vaccaro, a landscape architecture from Atlanta, will work for a landscape architecture firm and later pursue a graduate degree after graduation.

Alek Waddell, an architecture major from St. Louis, plans to continue working in Colorado beyond graduation.

Caroline Walton, an environmental product design major from Fort Collins, Colorado, plans to make cool things and go to neat places after graduation.

Chris Benson, an architecture major from Nederland, Colorado, plans to travel and seek out any opportunities along the way after graduation.

Cecilia Alvarado, an architecture major from Denver, will graduate with a certificate in lighting design and plans to eventually start her own lighting design firm in the future.

Gerardo Mario Grajales, an architecture major from Colombia, plans to return to Colombia after completing an architecture project in Boulder.

Kris Kratovil, an architecture major from Boulder, plans to find a position where he can apply what he's learned to make clients happy and continue honing his skills.

Peyton Floyd, an architecture major from Durango, Colorado, plans to go to graduate school at Pratt Institute in the fall.
