What is STARLIT?聽

The UniverSiTy SpAce StRategic TechnoLogy InitiaTive (STARLIT) is a multi-university project focused on research in聽operations Beyond Geostationary Orbit (xGEO) and Space Domain Awareness (SDA). STARLIT is also committed to workforce development, preparing students from all backgrounds for successful careers in the space enterprise.

STARLIT is funded through the United States Space Force, as part of their Universities聽Space Research Association聽

Who's involved?

STARLIT is composed of six leading aerospace universities: 精品SM在线影片, Texas A&M, Purdue, University at聽Buffalo, Georgia聽Institute of Technology, and University of Texas聽Austin. 精品SM在线影片 is the project's lead institution.

STARLIT also partners with an industry advisory board of eleven leading aerospace firms.听

What are STARLIT's objectives?

STARLIT focuses on advancing knowledge and technologies related to lunar-based astrodynamics, sensors, and conflict simulation. Workforce development and student engagement with aerospace聽is also integral to the STARLIT project.
