It'S Friday Events

ISIEC's 'It'S Friday' events are designed to bring staff members from around campus together to network and interact with people outside of their respective work groups and to build community between I&S departments. The host location rotates to different home bases of I&S work groups on campus.Ìý

DEI Awards

ISIEC is always looking for ways to recognize employees for their work in diversity, equity, and inclusion. We created an annual Excellence in DEI Award to be included with the I&S Annual Awards starting in 2022.Ìý

Exchange Program

A past program that ISIEC assisted in setting up was the Vision-Intercollegiate Exchange Program (IEP), which sought to educate, empower, engage, and develop our staff by facilitating opportunities to visit and network with the same, like, or similar professional staff and trades people from neighboring schools and universities.

Computer Literacy

ISIEC collaborates with I&S HR on the design and management of The Infrastructure & Sustainability Computer Literacy Initiative, which is intended to provide professional development opportunities for frontline service employees and increase employee engagement in the ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ community.

GED Programs

ISIEC is working with I&S HR on the re-launch of a GED Program for staff and exploring ideas for continuing to assist and expand access to employees.ÌýThere is more work to be done and please contact us if you are interested in pursuing your GED or learning more!

ISIEC partners with I&S HR and leadership in setting up and hosting the past and future Infrastructure & Sustainability Diversity & Inclusion Training SeriesÌýto help engage and develop our staff with topics on diversity & inclusion.

Tech Training

ISIEC is always looking to assist in developing more training for staff on technology.ÌýWe have assisted in the past with trainings on virtual meeting platforms, and if there are more desired training please contact us to explore options!

Exploring with ISIEC is a section in the monthly I&S Employee Newsletter that ISIEC puts out to highlight DEI events, resources and news on campus with I&S staff.

We value our coworkers and employees at CU, and want to ensure they are recognized and known in our community.ÌýOne of the ways we do this is through our Employee Spotlight in the I&S Employee Newsletter released monthly, where we highlight one I&S staff member each month to get to know them better.

ISIEC values its members and is always seeking to grow and build the committee!Ìý Several ISIEC members worked on a project focused on membership and recruitment for ISIEC through Innovation Buffs in 2021.
