In honor of Black History Month, University of Colorado Law School Associate Professor Anna Spain Bradley will moderate a panel discussion with W. Harold "Sonny" Flowers ('71), attorney with Hurth, Sisk & Blakemore LLP; Judge Gary Jackson ('70), Denver County Court; Justice Monica Márquez, Colorado Supreme Court; and Siddhartha H. Rathod ('07) partner at Rathod | Mohamedbhai LLC.
Among other topics, panelists will reflect on the history of African-American judges in Colorado and the impact of black lawyers on the legal community.

Judge Gary Jackson was appointed to the Denver County Court in 2013. He received his BA from the University of Colorado in 1967 and went on to earn his JD from the University of Colorado Law School in 1970.

Justice Monica M. Márquez has served on the Colorado Supreme Court since Dec. 10, 2010. She received her BA from Stanford University and her JD from Yale Law School.

Siddhartha H. Rathod is a partner at Rathod | Mohamedbhai LLC and serves on the Colorado Law Alumni Board. He received his BA from Miami University and his JD from the University of Colorado Law School in 2007.
