鈥淚 am honored and humbled to receive this recognition since it comes from my colleagues through the Denver Bar Association, a prestigious organization with a reputation for helping attorneys,鈥� Pallar茅s shared.聽鈥淚 am proud to practice law in Denver, the vibrant city where my legal career began, and I am privileged to continue working for Denver County Court.聽 My job does not stop with the responsibilities that I have in the courtroom. I also appreciate the importance of community involvement. This award has inspired me to continue supporting others in the future.鈥澛�
Pallares holds a bachelor's degree from Boston University and a Juris Doctor from Colorado Law. After graduating law school, Judge Pallar茅s interned at the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, served as a judicial intern for a federal judge, and as a served as a law clerk for Chief Judge Michael A. Martinez of the Denver District Court. Additionally, Pallar茅s served as Chief Deputy District Attorney for the office's Sexual Assault Unit.聽 She volunteers as a member of - a joint activity of citizens, lawyers, and judges to provide nonpartisan information to the public about our state and federal courts. Judge Pallar茅s was appointed to the Denver County Court bench by Mayor Hancock in 2017.聽聽
