If a student听does not meet any of the admission requirements stated above,听they are allowed to submit a Graduate Committee Petition听for admission to megrad@colorado.edu by the below application deadlines. Approval is not guaranteed.

Students who plan to complete a double major or minor are also eligible for admission to the BAM program. If you are a double-major and already have double-counted a course toward both majors, you may not count these courses toward your BAM requirements.听In such cases, in addition to the , students should contact megrad@colorado.edu.听

Application Requirements

Eligible students may apply to the BAM program by completing the , available on the graduate programs Forms and Handbooks page.

Most students in the BAM program will complete the requirements of the听Professional听MS program. When applying to the BAM program, applicants should select the "MECHANICAL ENGINEERING PROFESSIONAL (MCEN-MSME:C-MCENP)鈥澨齞esignation to denote the MS Professional (non-thesis) graduate program. Applicants who want to pursue the MS Thesis option will be required to have a faculty thesis advisor already identified to be admitted.听Students admitted to the BAM program can start in the MS Professional program and then switch听to the MS Thesis program if they notify the graduate program at听megrad@colorado.edu听that they have secured a faculty thesis advisor and wish to complete the requirements of the听MS Thesis program.听

After receiving admission,听students will then submit a master's continuation form and BAM supplement form. For more information, please go to听Pursue BAM or Concurrent Degrees | Office of the Registrar | 精品SM在线影片.

Important Deadlines

Submission of the 听is recommended during either the fall or spring semesters of a student鈥檚 junior year. Applicants considering applying later in their undergraduate career should familiarize themselves with all deadlines and requirements for progressing from undergraduate to graduate status on the BAM website. Students cannot be admitted to the BAM program if they are in progress of meeting any of the required听admission eligibilities during their graduating BS semester. The BS degree will be awarded prior to the student听meeting requirements and the BAM admission policies are not met:听"Students who are not admitted to the Bachelor's-Accelerated Master's program with the intent application before receiving the undergraduate degree are not eligible to double-count courses between degrees."

Deadlines for applying to the BAM program are听as follows:
