Program Details
Eligibility
Degree seeking and non-degree seeking 精品SM在线影片 undergraduates in good standing from any declared major will be eligible to participate in the Care, Health and Resilience certificate program. There will not be a grade point average requirement to enroll in the program; however, students will be required to achieve a C- or better in all coursework that applies toward the certificate.
How to Enroll
A student who wishes to declare a certificate is instructed to contact the program Director for specific details and instructions. The Director will review the student's credentials and use the Certificate Program Enrollment Form to notify the Office of the Registrar that a student has been approved to pursue a certificate.
Benefits
The program will integrate a variety of occupational practices in order to give students the opportunity to explore career options through a powerful internship experience. It will teach students to reflect on work practices, so they are not only able to help their future clients achieve well-being in life but also have productive and meaningful careers themselves. Limited resources in care professions like nursing currently restrict the number of students who can be admitted in their programs. By preparing Colorado鈥檚 students for numerous types of jobs in high-demand industries such as health care, this program will enable students to make wise career choices and pursue them successfully.
Objectives
The certificate program's curriculum will:
- Provide students the opportunity to explore a variety of care-related occupations;
- Address the needs of suffering people and at-risk populations;
- Examine the ethical dilemmas posed by medical technologies and bureaucracies; and
- Link students to Colorado鈥檚 only academic health sciences center, the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, and other local hospitals through its patient navigator internship program.
