Our Institute values convergence and collaboration between strands. Our theme leads meet bi-weekly, which results in an听increased shared awareness of major activities across the Institute. This helps our teams members to identify greater collaboration opportunities, reduce redundancies, and focus on our mission to build deep conceptual and socio-collaborative learning experiences for all students.听Through internal community events and trainings, we raise awareness of the different facets of iSAT鈥檚 research, drive greater participation in iSAT鈥檚 programs; and develop stronger relationships and collaboration between iSAT鈥檚 members. By nurturing and growing the next generation of talent, our iSAT undergrads better understand their roles at iSAT and feel more integrated into the Institute.听

Cross-strand Collaboration
We focused on cross-strand听convergence听during a three-day Design Sprint听and two-day Design Convergence听meeting, resulting in our听AI听Partner听metaphors and听prototypes based听on听the听metaphors. These events听develop stronger relationships and collaboration between iSAT鈥檚 members.听
Early Career Scholar Forum
This is an example of one of our professional development programs that helps our students, post docs, and research scientists who are early on in their career. These forums have covered topics including how to craft effective presentations, qualitative research protocols, and more
