¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ

The Office of Faculty Affairs is pleased to announce this year’s Faculty Leadership Institute fellows. This small group of faculty fellows will meet monthly, alternating between meeting with campus leaders and workshops focused on leadership development.

¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ has adopted a land acknowledgment recognizing its campus sits on land that is part of the traditional territories of the Arapaho, Cheyenne, Ute and other Indigenous nations with historic and ongoing ties to the state.

Center for Leadership Executive Director Aaron Roof will take the reins at CWA as John Griffin returns to the faculty. At its 75-year mark, a more focused CWA 2023 will emphasize action, local research and expertise related to climate change.

The Office of Faculty Affairs is pleased to announce this year’s participants in the CU system’s Excellence in Leadership Program. The participants will meet once a month during the academic year and once a month with the four-campus group.

¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ recently welcomed 112 new faculty members with previous affiliations at some of the world's most reputable institutions. Continued resources are available, including an info and resources site on Canvas and a who's-who directory of the new cohort.

Four doctoral students in the Ann and H.J. Smead Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences are being recognized with 2022 NASA Space Technology Graduate Research Opportunities fellowships.

Over 140 documents from notebooks and reports that feature first-person accounts of glacial landscapes from the 19th and 20th centuries are now available to the public through the CU Digital Library.

New, first-time Colorado Community College System students are guaranteed admission to participating four-year colleges and universities upon completion of an associate degree, offering an affordable, seamless pathway for graduates to continue.

¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ recently received national honors for three campus videos—two recounting community efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic and one highlighting the ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ Police Department.

Chancellor Philip DiStefano and a pair of ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ sustainability leaders recently participated in University Climate Change Coalition events as ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ continues to take a leading role among higher education institutions in collaborating on climate solutions.
